This Plan
includes the training of industrial hearing conservationists to
perform or administer audiometric testing within your plant facility.
A twenty hour course established by the Council for Accreditation in
Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) would be given by
ABC. These courses are offered four times a
year at which time both
the 20 hour and 8 hour refresher course would be combined. The
current cost for the 20 hour course is $450.00 and $250.00 for the 8
hour course.
Contact hours are
awarded through the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association
Certification = 24
hours Re-certification = 9.6 hours
